ABOUT CHERRY VALLEY

Cherry Valley is a second class city and began as a small settlement near the junction of Cooper's Creek. Cherry Valley derived its name from a grove of wild cherry trees along Cooper's Creek. Cherry Valley is located in the northern Cross County and sets on the western edge of Crowley's Ridge. An agriculture rich and thriving community, Cherry Valley capitalized on its position at the intersection of Arkansas State Highways 1 & 42 and the railroad system. As of the 2010 census Cherry Valley has a population of 651.
